with tunnels eaten by the larvae of the Juniper bark beetle
and the Cypress bark beetle.

Lazarus didn't come out of his tomb as the same man who went in.

Cypress bark beetles (Phloeosinus cristatus) and juniper bark beetles (Phloeosinus serratus) did a lot of the “carving” on this sculpture.
